His love for photography started when he first discovered the work of Helmut Newton and Peter Beard, which led him to New York, where he taught himself the skills of imagemaking. Heavican’s photos have been published in V, ID, and The Block magazines as well as brand clients such as Yves Saint Laurent, the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Ballet, and Ralph Lauren.
