About Mateo Taussig-Rubbo

Associate professor of law at the University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York. He earned a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Yale Law School. Author of several articles on sacrifice, including recently ‘‘Outsourcing Sacrifice: The Labor of Private Military Contractors,’’ Yale Journal of Law and the Humanities 21, no. 1 (2009): 103–68, he is also coeditor (with Winnifred Fallers Sullivan and Robert Yelle) of After Secular Law (Stanford, forthcoming).
